D. Simple structure
Owner-manager makes all major decisions and monitors all activities while the staff serves as an extension of the managers supervisory authority.
It is a basic organizational design structure  where the decision-making and authority  is centralized with the owner. The hierarchy  has a low number of levels and minimum
departmentalization. Communication is quicker and approval is generally faster
but the owner's workload is high.
